Why Life Tutoring Services?
Hello and welcome to LIFE Tutoring Services, where our purpose is to develop life-long learners from day one!
My name is Uchendu Izuogu and I have been a teacher for 2 decades. In that time, I have been privileged to teach every year group from Reception class right through to Year 11s preparing for their GCSE. Although much of my teaching has been at upper key stage 2 and key stage 3, teaching right across the British education spectrum affords me the opportunity to see how subjects build and relate to one another.
As a tutor, my aim is to develop learners by stimulating and inspiring minds to ask questions, see patterns in their subjects and to reflect on their own learning. Being a parent of 3 teenage children (whom I also home schooled during the pandemic), I understand the importance of our children achieving their academic goals and how to coach them to reach it.
Outside of education, I am a keen gardener, growing tomatoes, cucumbers and corn during the spring and summer months.
